Matt Damon stars in the first instalment in the seminal action series based on Robert Ludlum’s novels. Damon’s Bourne is found floating in the Mediterranean sea with no memory of who he is or how he sustained a pair of bullet wounds in his back. With nothing to go on but the number of a Swiss safe deposit box, he must look for answers, evade assassins and regain his memory. Tense, smart and visceral, this is definitely one to remember. Chris Cooper and Franka Potente also star.
